Fire & Ice 5th Annual Chili Cook-Off & Craft Beer Festival
The Shops at Dos Lagos, February 23 at 11:00 am
Over 25 chili cook-off contestants in two different categories (Texas-Style and Mexican-Style) competing for prizes plus beer tasting from 25 craft breweries.
Downtown Riverside Main Street, February 23 & 24 at 10:00 am
The Dickens Festival is a free street fair with the London Marketplace, street performers, a character parade, fashion shows and multiple stages with performances all weekend.
5th Annual Hangar Dance & WWII Warbird Party

The Terrace Club Raises the Bar
Whether you’re a beer connoisseur or a wine enthusiast, you can now find your drink of choice at Terramor’s 55+ resort-style amenity center, The Terrace Club.
Stop in, grab a drink and socialize by the fire pit. Play billiards and shuffleboard with a cold beer in hand. Or clink wine glasses with your significant other while enjoying a beautiful sunset amongst the rolling hills of Temescal Valley.
The Terrace Club Bar is now open during the following hours:

Temescal Valley’s Bicentennial Celebration
Temescal Valley celebrated its 200th anniversary this year, and Temescal Heritage Foundation has been bringing the community plenty of festivities during the year-long bicentennial celebration.
Two centuries ago in 1818, Leandro Serrano, a soldier at Mission San Luis Rey, was sent here with a permit to graze cattle on about five leagues of land. Serrano raised livestock, planted orchards and vineyards and established adobe homes for himself and his family on what he called Rancho Temescal. A California historical landmark, the Serrano Boulder still stands where he constructed his first adobe in 1824.
There’s much more to learn about Temescal Valley’s history, and the Temescal Heritage Foundation is sharing the story throughout the anniversary celebration. Join your fellow residents in learning more about the roots of our surrounding community—and don’t miss the exciting events still to come.

Toasting 2018 at Terramor
Terramor brought lots of excitement to Temescal Valley in 2018, and there’s plenty more to explore, discover and look forward to.
The year started off strong on January 6th with the Model Grand Opening of a brand new 55+ neighborhood, Sterling by CalAtlantic Homes – A Lennar Company. Featuring four inspired floor plans, Sterling boasts living options for any lifestyle with California rooms, private offices, courtyards and flex spaces.
We also got to watch The Terrace Club take shape leading up to the exciting Big Reveal, when residents and visitors alike got to explore the resort-style amenity center and take part in tennis and pickleball lessons, art classes, live pottery demonstrations and more. The opening of this exclusive oasis for 55+ residents has raised the bar for Terramor living.
Along with these grand special events, the lifestyle at Terramor has grown. Getting involved in the community comes second nature with welcoming social and wellness clubs. Plus, the Welcome House has established monthly homeowner events to spark connection and friendships between neighbors and residents.
Terramor has taken pride in its open and scenic nature. Public trails opened and construction began on the Vista Trail, which will make it even easier to explore the beautiful surrounding preserved open space, winding through the nearby hills with spectacular views of the Santa Ana Mountains. For even more outdoors to discover, Terramor Commons will soon be enjoyed by residents with sports fields, dog parks, event space and more.
This year was a big one for Terramor, and there’s so much more to come. New neighborhoods, events, discoveries, parks and trails—it’s all in the works. Thank you for coming on this journey with us and for calling Terramor home.
