When you live at Terramor, a delectable tasting and wine experience is always just a quick trip away.
Any Temescal Valley resident knows that the must-stop shop at Tom’s Farms is The Cheese & Wine Shoppe. This little market offers over 600 varieties of wines, including many from nearby Temecula Valley. The wine tasting area is open daily for sampling and discovering new favorites. Don’t forget to pick up a delicious loaf of homemade bread and some gourmet cheese to bring home.
A short trip south will take you to the acclaimed Temecula Valley wineries. Revel in a premier wine experience while strolling through the fairytale-style property of Briar Rose Winery. Just up the road from Terramor, Vino Veritas Wine Bar is the gem of the Shops at Dos Lagos. Here, you can sit back on the relaxing covered patio around a fire pit constructed out of old wine barrels, share a savory dish of white truffle mac ’n’ cheese and be expertly guided through a tasting of wines from California and around the world.
Whether you’re heading north or south, you’re bound to find a winery worth visiting. Just past Corona in Mira Loma lies the historic Galleano Winery, crafting award-winning wines since 1933. Relax in the country-style surroundings of the historic architecture or sit back at the beautiful picnic grounds. And you won’t want to leave without sampling their premium Zinfandels and rosés.
